Cystidia thick walled, clavate, end encrusted. Hyphal system dimitic. Generative hyphae septate, with clamps. Edibility Inedible Notes The specimen collected on 19 September 2025 was DNA sequenced by Eric Janke in association with the BMS, confirming the identification. The species is distinguished from J. nitida at a macroscopic level by its more fragile context and its fibrous and cottony margin.
